Located in NTUST Student Affairs Meeting Room, NTUST-ISA active members were gathering together to evaluate the one-year performance of NTUST-ISA period 2009-2010. The presentation was delivered by Ivan Arista, emphasizing on NTUST-ISA evaluation based on three factors, which are NTUST-ISA statutes, vision and missions, and members’ expectations. One of the suggestions for the next committee was the establishment of inventory and performance division due to the vast growing of NTUST-ISA. After the presentation was over, one of the member, Mr. Fadlilatul Taufany asked, “Why should the evaluation report and president election be held at the same time?”, Ivan answered that it was due to the quorum regulation that both of the meetings must be in quorum”. However, this question can also be a suggestion for improvement in the future.

 

 

 

After the evaluation report, the next agenda will be the final campaign for two president candidates, Mr. Joni Welman Simatupang and Ms. Hening Marlistya Citraningrum. In his presentation, Mr. Joni emphasized on the participation of NTUST-ISA members in NTUST-ISA activities and also his focus on academic discussion and sport, with the slogan “Men sana in corpore sano” . On Ms. Citra emphasized on how to build a big family in NTUST through the group gathering, discussion, home stay, and building personal additional skills. The next step before the election was the questions and answers from NTUST-ISA members. Both of the candidates answered the questions very well. Finally, the voting result (27-18) elected Ms. Hening Marlistya Citraningrum to be the NTUST-ISA 6th President.
